Acerto e excelência na medicina clínica: a moral do arqueiro

As questões sobre o que é um bom clínico e o que constitui uma boa medicina levam a refletir sobre o papel da pessoa humana do médico na medicina contemporânea. Acerto, excelência e prudência sintetizam a bondade dos atos médicos. O conceito de acerto na medicina resume os principais elementos da bioética das virtudes em um formato mais prático e compreensível para a prática clínica. Reflete-se sobre alguns desses elementos. Entre os princípios da bioética e as exigências da prática, existe um caminho intermediário do realismo clássico: o acerto na medicina. Esse conceito possui amplas implicações para o profissionalismo, a educação médica e os serviços de saúde.
