Uso de ferramentas virtuais para a abordagem inicial em pacientes com sintomas de saúde mental. Uma revisão da literatura

Resumo

Objetivo: Este artigo tem como objetivo revisar a literatura existente com foco nas ferramentas tecnológicas virtuais utilizadas para a abordagem de pacientes com sintomas de saúde mental, a fim de descrever as vantagens, a eficácia, a efetividade e os benefícios dessas ferramentas, com base na literatura encontrada. Métodos: foi realizada uma busca nas bases de dados PubMed, Elsevier, UpToDate, Journal of Medical Internet Research e Google Acadêmico, a partir da qual foram identificados 58 artigos que abordavam a eficácia e a efetividade de diferentes modalidades digitais (como aplicativos, questionários on-line, mensagens de texto etc.) que tratam da saúde mental. Resultados: após a eliminação de duplicatas, o número foi de 50 artigos. Após a caracterização das informações com base na revisão de todo o conteúdo, 30 artigos foram escolhidos para servir de base para a construção da síntese de dados. Conclusões: as ferramentas virtuais utilizadas na saúde mental oferecem infinitos benefícios para prestar um serviço de mais fácil acesso à população, de forma econômica e eficaz, sem medo de que os pacientes sejam estigmatizados ao buscar ajuda, como ficou evidente nos artigos apresentados. Além disso, as ferramentas digitais utilizadas na psiquiatria têm se mostrado eficazes e seguras, porém são recentes e possuem um número limitado de estudos que demonstram objetivamente sua eficácia nessa área.
