Abstract

The human individual is the foundation of juridical order. Currently, no debate is taking place about the humanity of unborn beings, and international law recognizes and acknowledges their essential human rights prior to birth. But some people are misinterpreting international law in order to promote abortion and in this way deny the absolute value of the human individual. They are against the spirit of the international juridical system, just like several UNO Committees that are exercising their function today in an illegitimate way. These committees do not enjoy a normative status, and the States should assume their responsibility in dissenting from the improper interpretations presently provided by any such committees.
