Abstract

Recent genetic advances, as well as research on early stages of Human Genome Project bear crucial bioethical implications along economic, social and cultural sequels.

Author offers an outline of these elements to clarify issues related to latest developments on subject mater, which have a direct impact on society.

Breakthroughs of Genome Project, boundaries and potential of Genic Therapy, aside ethical implications of Genetic Screening and social accountability before scientific developments, are some of the issues discussed here.
