The bioethics of nursing care for the terminally ill
Abstract
Treatment for the terminally ill requires that medical staff workers help patients to pace pain and death as well as establish a “relationship of help” that humanizes these last moments of life. In this regard, the right to psychological, spiritual and family assistance constitutes a support of hope. These aspects, along whit a presentation of the rights of terminally ill, make up Professor Francisco Leon’s discussion of Bioethics dealt with in this article.
