Ciudadanía y sujetos de investigación
Abstract
The difficulty of the expression of autonomy in its cultural significations apparently seems to sustain. That is reflected in the lack of focus of the subject in the social operations. From the data gathered in the Fondecyt project 1010947(3),on the autonomy of human subjects that participate in investigation, it appears that this is due to the small institutionalization of the minimum ethical norms (1994 and 1995)(4) On the other hand the incorporation of procedures and international codes still remains, in the time of the projects that are included in the study, insufficient of what is demonstrated as a transformation process, of the practices and speeches of the investigators, who slowly begin to consider the ethical question as a dimension underlying their own investigative task. We propose to read this tension from is citizenship concept, like conceptual matrix that crystallizes contents, values and own abilities of the modern concept of autonomy, the one that is in based in the codes and international procedures on investigation with human subjects. We consider these normative acquisitions to be limited assumptions, for their contents should be estimated as single institutional requirements and not like part of the society.
