Investigaciones sobre el genoma humano, según los artículos 10 a 12 de la declaración universal sobre el genoma humano y los derechos humanos
Abstract
A further consideration on articles 10 and 12 of Universal Declaration on Human Genome and Human Rights, points out deep concern on every aspect related to study and advancement of genetics, in particular, regarding prevalent ambiguity on future outcomes resulting from manipulation on early stages of human being. A clear notion of freedom, accountability, bioethics, dignity, human rights and welfare conception is imperative for a common language approach on these issues.
Human being should set up goals towards self-enhancement on freedom usage, which should he appealed to gaining freedom, liberalize others from diverse forms of distress, and for the betterment in event dimension of humankind. Consistent with ethic and moral references which should prevail over infra-animal behaviors in detriment of researcher and related subjects, a solid balance is required between warrant for respect of fundamental rights and freedoms, and the need to warrant research freedom. Protection of human genetic material is fundamental for preservation of our species, since hearings addressed to eugenicist, aesthetics, economic, social and political, applications, where human being is treated as a product or object, would be contrary to dignity of human being.
