Abstract

This work explores a comprehensive view of the many-sided streams of thought in Bioethics, with an analysis on discernment necessary to take a right direction, which depends on affirmation or denial of access to human being and transcendence. Humanizing medicine practice should be a first concern endeavor, including patient-physician relations.

 

Acceptance of diverse challenging lines of thought, of good bind to truth and both bound to liberty, or otherwise simply agreeing with utilitarian notion leading to absolute autonomy, relativism, and moral nihilism, are examined here.

 

Next to this overview, author outlines several final controversial issues to decide a right pathway in a complex crossroad of conflicting conceptions.
