Ethics and pluralism: Can they both agree among themselves?

Abstract

The author draws special attention on the dogmatism which have paradoxically hid themselves behind an ethics of pluralism. Frequently, the diversity of conceptions and about what is admissible or not in the field of reproductive medicine and genetic technology hides a fight for power among different world conceptions and beliefs.

Ethical reflection is detained until certain Perceptions and beliefs are openly revealed and recognized. Without this confrontation, there wouldn’t be a doctrine on values.
