This article reflects on and reviews the biological and genetic aspects of homosexuality, from the standpoint of basic science and biolaw, and how access to assisted reproductive techniques for same-sex couples impacts the family. The foregoing leads to the development of concepts such as "prenatal violence," the right of children to grow up in a family with the image of a father and mother, and the implications of these concepts in light of Colombian law.Downloads
