Abstract

Contemporary scientific vision has managed to disenchant the world by doing away with interest and admiration for reality, which is where science starts. Ironically, what is exhibited as an achievement of science hampers its own development. Research is essential if medicine is to maintain proper patient care. In looking at the basis for the phenomenon of amazement, the authors put forth several ideas for teaching in the field of science that can help to reawaken an interest in.
